THE FALL takes the classic pumpkin pie recipe and turns up the flavour and heat. Pumpkin, brown sugar and maple syrup form a smooth base for cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger and clove carried on a wave of medium heat from Habanero peppers.
This sweet sauce is versatile for a wide variety of desserts and savoury dishes. Use it to add some warmth to your favorite fall soup, as a festive and spicy alternative to BBQ sauce for savoury grilling, or simply use it as is for a table dip or ice cream topping. It's also really good ON pumpkin pie.
